EON launched its revamped Proton EON 3S Centre in Banting

Edaran Otomobil Nasional Berhad (“EON”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of DRB-HICOM Berhad (“DRB-HICOM”) today launched its revamped Proton EON 3S Centre leading the way in service excellence for car lovers in Banting, Selangor.

The new centre, which previously only operated as a showroom, has now been upgraded to offer 3S services, namely sales, after-sales service and spare parts replacement. With a total of RM6 million invested in refurbishment and upgrades, the Proton EON Banting 3S Centre offers customers enhanced experience through digital sales and after-sales services within a comfortable and modern enlarged showroom. Ample parking space is also provided to increase convenience of customers.

The opening of the showroom was officiated by Akkbar Danial, Chief Executive Officer of EON who is also DRB-HICOM Berhad Head of Automotive Distribution. Also present at the ceremony were Edmund Lim PROTON Edar Sdn. Bhd. Vice President for Sales and After-Sales, as well as other members of the management of EON, PROTON and DRB-HICOM.

In his speech, Akkbar said:“The opening of the Proton EON Banting 3S Centre underscores EON’s continued focus on improving service to enhance customer satisfaction. This isin line with our position as Malaysia’s largest multi-brand car dealership.

The revamped and the newly refurbished showroomwill allow us to raise the game in terms ofcustomer’s experience, while its strategic location will make it very convenient for the residents of Banting and the surrounding areas to access our 3S centre, whether it is for the purchase ofnew cars, or for after-sales servicing," Akkbar added.

The upgraded showroom spans an impressive 18,775 square feet build up area capable of displaying eight units of Proton vehicles. Complementing the showroom is an advanced service centre covering 12,347 square feet, equipped with 10 service bays featuring state-of-the-art technology for efficient and reliable servicing of various Proton models.

Customers also stand to benefit from EON’s digitalisation push with the introduction of Workforce Management (“WFM”) platform that enables customers to get appointments for car servicing online and enjoy real-time service updates. Customers are invited to explore the latest models in a comfortable environment, ensuring an enjoyable car-buying experience. The showroom is opened from 8:30am to 5:30pm Mondays to Saturdays, and 10:00am to 4:00pm Sundays and public holidays. Its service centre operates from 8:30am to 5:30pm Mondays to Fridays, and 8:30am to 1:00pm on Saturdays. The service centre does not operate on Sundays and public holidays.
